Laugh openly and freely.
The Happy Laughter story
People often ask where the name Happy Laughter came from.
It actually popped into my head while I was sanding window frames! The vision of a child laughing freely, not weighed down by stressors or tension and so Happy Laughter was born.
The characters in Chinese refer to Happy Laughter (and coincidentally the Chinese also starts with H and L – Huan Le) as that of the laughter of a child. Free, with abandon and pure joy. How easy it is as adults to lose the ability to experience this kind of free and pure joy often experienced in childhood. Stress, tension, pain, digestive complaints just to name a few can all get in the way of us experiencing and living our lives to the full.
